This bed is fantastic. We just got a new mattress before the bed arrived and had to use it on the floor for a week or so. It was terrible, uncomfortable, and we thought we’d have to send it back. However, as soon as it went on the bed, it feels amazing. The slats, while a pain to put together as they hurt my hands, do a great job of supporting the mattress. The bed is pretty high in quality and it was packed very well. Took about 45 minutes to assemble, mostly due to the time consuming slats. It looks great against our jet black furniture and is super comfy to boot!
