I did quite a lot of research before I bought the monster bunk bed. I was opting for a wood set because I thought it would look nicer. But, my son who is 5 yrs old really wanted the monster bed because it looked “cool” and matched his car theme in his room. So, we ordered it from Amazon. It came within 7 days after ordering. Great service! Very easy to put together. This is a VERY sturdy bed. Probably sturdier than a wood bunk bed and can easily handle the romping around that my son likes to do. It costs a lot less than the wood bunk bed which also made it more appealing. Now, we want to look into the matching pieces like the 4 drawer chest, etc. I would highly recommend this bed. Its more suitable for a boy than a girl. It is very heavy and sturdy and will last a lifetime!
